A snagging survey is a detailed inspection of a new or recently renovated property to identify defects or unfinished work before the buyer takes possession.
The survey focuses on detecting minor defects, known as “snags,” which can range from cosmetic issues like scratched paint or misaligned doors to more serious problems such as faulty plumbing, electrical faults, or structural concerns. We produce a snagging list documenting all defects and unfinished work, which the buyer can present to the developer before full payment or warranty expiration.
